What You Will Do

Clinical Support: The RN will be responsible for supporting the clinics of the physicians on site. This includes tasks supporting their clinics and surgical portfolios. This includes education, triage, collaborating with team in filling out any required paperwork, supporting any urgent scheduling needs, and drawing up injections.

Education: The RN may provide education to patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care. This could involve explaining procedures, rehabilitation exercises, and answering patient questions.

Triage: The RN may be involved in triaging patient calls or inquiries, helping to determine the urgency of their needs, and providing appropriate guidance or referrals.

Documentation: The RN will assist in filling out any required paperwork, such as medical histories, consent forms, and insurance documentation.

Scheduling: The RN will support the physicians in managing their schedules, including accommodating any urgent or last-minute appointments or surgical cases.

Injections: Drawing up injections is another key responsibility. This involves preparing and administering injections as prescribed by the physicians.

Patient Communication: A significant part of the role involves communicating with patients. This includes using Epic (a widely-used electronic health record system) inbasket for messaging patients and calling them to provide information, answer questions, or discuss their care.

The RN in this role will act as the right-hand person to these physicians, helping to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care and support throughout their treatment journey. Their communication skills, clinical expertise, and ability to manage various responsibilities will be critical in this dynamic and patient-centered environment.

What You Will Need

  • A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
  • BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

Compensation

Salary Range: $29.78 - $48.84 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
